12th November 2013 – Mr. Thongma Vijitpongpun, Chairman of Executive Committee and Chief
Executive Officer of Pruksa Real Estate Public Co., Ltd. revealed that, “During the first 9 months of 2013, we have generated total sales worth 33,767 Million Baht, a notable growth of 63% from 20,681 Million Baht obtained last year. At the same time, revenue has increased from 18,777 Million Baht last year to 25,264 Million Baht, a 35% increase. Horizontal projects, which include townhouses and single houses, continue to account for the majority of the company income this year, or 82%. All in all, during the first 9 months of 2013, the company generated a total of 3,539 Million Baht in net profit, a remarkable 34% rise from 2,636 Million Baht the year before.”
Mr. Lersuk Chuladesa, Chief Operating Officer and Acting Managing Director of Pruksa Real Estate Public Co., Ltd., stated that, “Our strong 9-month performance this year came as a result of business expansion both in Bangkok and surrounding provinces, as well as, a greater emphasis which has been placed on upcountry markets. Our greater residential property portfolios are now ready to meet the demands of property seekers in various segments and price ranges. All these contributed to success in generating total sales worth 33,767 Million Baht during the first 9 months of this year. Of this figure, 33,554 Million Baht was generated domestically and another 213 Million Baht was from our overseas developments. In October, we gained an additional 3,160 Million Baht in sales. We are pleased to announce that our 10-month sales performance of 36,927 Million Baht has eclipsed our annual sales target of 35,426 Million Baht already.”
“During the first 9 months this year, we launched a total of 41 new projects, worth 39,860 Million Baht in total. Of these new projects, there are 30 townhouse projects, 8 condominium projects and 3 single-house projects. We aim to unveil 10 to 15 more new projects before the year ends. There is a possibility that the number of our new projects this year may be lower than anticipated, but if we look at the total value of all projects combined, the difference is very marginal. Combine this with the fact that our 10-month sales performance has already beaten the annual sales target, and that we have a backlog of sales worth 44,024 Million Baht as of the end of September 2013, we are confident that our 2013 operating results will be record-high and that 2013 will prove to be yet another fantastic year for Pruksa Real Estate.”, added Mr. Lersuk.
